How We Ranked Them

Methodology 2026(Compiled as of 2026-08-07). Box office figures are based on worldwide and North American cumulative totals from the A24 entry on Wikipedia; critical reception is based on Rotten Tomatoes' editorial "All A24 Movies Ranked by Tomatometer" list (including titles from the first half of 2026). The box office champ isn't necessarily the Tomatometer leader—Backrooms pushed the global ceiling to nearly $400 million, while the top of the critical rankings still belongs to the likes of Lady Bird and Moonlight.

Global Box Office Top 10

Backrooms (2026, Kane Parsons) leads with approximately $395 millionin cumulative worldwide gross, taking the top spot in A24's history and marking the studio's first film to cross $200 million and its first to open globally above $100 million. It is followed by Marty Supreme (about $191 million), Everything Everywhere All at Once (about $148 million), The Drama (about $131 million), and Civil War (about $127 million).
