China Restaurant Rankings 2026

Snapshot 2026-09-14. The main tables follow Meituan's 2026 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide for the mainland, released in Quanzhou on 27 Jan 2026. Two hundred sixty-three restaurants in 32 cities. Six hold three diamonds, 25 hold two, 232 hold one. Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas cities were set for March in Singapore; this page stays on the mainland cut. Chinese names on World's 50 Best sit in the global restaurant ranking.

Black Pearl 2026, restaurants by city

Shanghai has 61, first for nine straight years. Beijing has 35. Hangzhou has 20. Guangzhou and Chengdu tie at 18. Huangpu District alone has 23, first among Shanghai districts. Guangdong province has 40 across Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shantou and Shunde.

Black Pearl 2026, three diamonds

Six restaurants share the top grade; they are not ranked against each other. Jin Sha at Four Seasons Hangzhou is on three diamonds for the ninth year. Xin Rong Ji Linghu in Taizhou is on eight. Jing Xi Hui on the Bund is on seven. Jingji Rongpai and Yu Waitan Xintiandi moved up from two diamonds.

How this list is ranked

The list landed in Quanzhou on 27 Jan 2026: 263 mainland restaurants in 32 cities; 6 three-diamond, 25 two-diamond, 232 one-diamond. City counts are the insight report's top five; Shanghai's 61 matches the Huangpu district notice. The six three-diamond names come from that report; Jin Sha is also on the Hangzhou local list. Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas cities were scheduled for March in Singapore and stay off the mainland table. Mainland Michelin three-stars are the live four-row filter. Promoted from one diamond to two

The insight report names five: 1996 Sichuan Chef in Beijing, Ru Yuan in Hangzhou, Longyin Shanfang in Nanjing, Zhongguocai Touzao in Shanghai and Ling Long (Shanghai Club).

Michelin three stars, Chinese mainland

The live mainland three-star filter has four rows. Chao Shang Chao (Chaoyang) and Xin Rong Ji (Xinyuan South Road) kept three stars in the Beijing 2026 release. Taian Table in Shanghai and Xin Rong Ji in Chengdu are on the same page.
