City Destinations Index, S–D

Paris is first for a fifth year and sits in S, followed by Madrid, Tokyo, Rome and Milan. A is New York, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Singapore and Seoul. Bangkok leads arrivals worldwide but ranks 20th on the index, so it lands in B.

International arrivals, 2025

The same report publishes arrival millions through the top ten. Bangkok 30.3 million, down 7%, still first. Hong Kong 23.2 million, London 22.7 million. Macau 20.4 million, up 14%. Paris 18.3 million, ninth on volume.

The Asian slice of this 40-city set, same index ranks. Tokyo 3, Singapore 9, Seoul 10. Shanghai 34, Macau 61.

European cities

Europe takes four of the index top five. London is 18th on the index and third on arrivals (22.7 million). Antalya is 48th on the index with 18.6 million arrivals.
