League of Legends Champion Rankings
Champion tiers for Top, Jungle, Mid, Bot, and Support, based on Patch 26.15 global Emerald+ solo queue data, plus a draggable champion template.

How the rankings work
Data cutoff 2026-08-06This data corresponds to League of Legends patch 26.15. The list covers global Emerald+ solo queue across five positions: top, jungle, mid, bottom, and support. Win rates, match counts, and U.GG tiers are all drawn from the same public data set. Champion strength shifts with rank, team composition, and player mastery, so the S+ tier in the table is best used to narrow down your champion pool.
| Source | Snapshot | Data scope | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Riot 26.15 patch notes | 2026-07-28 | Champion, item, and ranked changes | This article's patch boundary; needs re-ranking once 26.16 goes live |
| U.GG all-role rankings | 2026-08-06 | Global, Emerald+, solo queue, 26.15 | The public page shows the analysis sample includes more than 10 million champion appearances |
| U.GG role rankings | Same day | Win rate, games, role tier | Stats are tracked separately by position; win rates from different positions should not be lumped together or ranked against one another. |
Top Lane
This patch's S+ tier in top lane is wide, with tanks, fighters, and ranged picks all viable. If you want to keep combo practice light, Malphite and Garen are easier to bring out; Gangplank and Camille sit at a tier that leans more heavily on mastery.
| Tier | Champion | Win Rate / Games | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| S+ | Malphite | 50.7% / ~78,000 games | Players who need reliable engage and added frontline |
| S+ | Gangplank | 51.2% / ~72,000 games | Players comfortable with barrel timing and willing to grind laning |
| S+ | Garen | 51.1% / ~79,000 games | Wants simple mechanics to handle split pushing |
| S+ | Camille | 51.1% / ~26,000 games | Good at catching sidelane opportunities and managing engage timing |
| S+ | Darius / Aatrox / Jax | ~50.1%–50.4% / 70,000+ games each | Prefers bruiser duels; already has the champion-pool proficiency |
Jungle
Nocturne's ultimate is the best tool for punishing mispositioned players in solo queue, while Graves relies more on jungle pathing and kiting. Nasus jungle has a high win rate in this data set but a small sample size; he's worth a try when autofilled, but your first pick still depends on whether the team has an early-game tempo anchor.
| Tier | Champion | Win Rate / Games | Reminder |
|---|---|---|---|
| S+ | Nocturne | 50.8% / ~63,000 games | Reliable side-lane ganks after level 6; avoid careless jungle swaps early on. |
| S+ | Graves | 50.4% / ~117,000 games | Largest sample; needs gold and wants to kite. |
| S+ | Briar | 51.1% / ~43,000 games | Before going in, make sure you have a way to stop her. |
| S+ | Nasus | 51.8% / ~25,000 games | Impressive win rate, though the sample size trails Graves and Nocturne |
| S+ | Shaco | 51.0% / ~41,000 games | Route planning and mind games are key; first-timing him often has little impact |
Mid Lane
The mid-lane list covers both assassins and mages. Zed and Katarina have snowball potential; Xerath, Viktor, and Ahri are better suited to rounding out magic damage and crowd control. If your team already has two divers, picking another assassin usually makes front-to-back teamfights a nightmare.
| Tier | Champion | Win Rate / Games | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| S+ | Zed | 50.4% / ~103,000 games | High-pick-rate assassin with strong sidelane pressure |
| S+ | Katarina | 50.9% / about 91,000 games | Strong cleanup potential, but demands sharp judgment on when to go in |
| S+ | Xerath | 51.5% / about 53,000 games | Long-range poke; vulnerable to hard engage and flanking |
| S+ | Ahri | 51.3% / about 114,000 games | Has both mobility and engage tools; fits a wide range of team compositions |
| S+ | Viktor / Syndra / Fizz / Vladimir | Approximately 50.7%–51.4% | Pick based on your team's damage type and your own champion mastery |
Bot Lane
The top bot-lane tiers on patch 26.15 include four mages, which shows the position is ranked by role and isn't limited to traditional marksmen. When you're duo-queuing with a support who can follow up on your crowd control, Ziggs and Seraphine are low-maintenance; if you need sustained physical damage, then look to Jinx and Tristana.
| Tier | Champion | Win Rate / Games | Team Comp Fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| S+ | Seraphine | 52.4% / ~41,000 games | Team already has physical damage; you want to add crowd control and teamfight power |
| S+ | Viktor | 51.7% / ~65,000 games | Can farm up safely; the team doesn't lack frontline |
| S+ | Xerath / Ziggs | ~51.3% each / ~57,000 and ~81,000 games | Strong waveclear and poke; the rest of the comp needs to provide sustained physical damage. |
| S+ | Jinx | 51.6% / ~106,000 games | One of the top classic ADC picks; requires team protection. |
| S+ | Tristana | 51.5% / ~80,000 games | Strong lane burst and fast tower taking; do the math before leaping in. |
Support
Tank supports make up most of this patch's S+ tier. Thresh has the highest ceiling; Leona and Nautilus bring more direct engage. Poppy blocks dives, and Braum is the pick against melee-heavy comps.
| Tier | Champion | Win Rate / Games | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| S+ | Thresh | 52.5% / roughly 104,000 games | Can both engage and peel; skillshot accuracy sets the ceiling |
| S+ | Leona | 51.8% / roughly 61,000 games | Pairs well with burst bot laners; the most straightforward engage |
| S+ | Poppy | 52.1% / roughly 28,000 games | Priority when the enemy team has lots of divers |
| S+ | Braum | 51.7% / roughly 29,000 games | Strong in teamfights and at peeling; slightly slower at actively making plays |
| S+ | Nautilus / Blitzcrank | 50.5% / ~79,000 games; 50.9% / ~41,000 games | A hook that lands starts the fight; when behind, leave yourself an escape route before you throw it. |
Patch Changes
Riot buffed Alistar, Kai'Sa, Maokai, Volibear, and Zac in 26.15, nerfed Locke, Mordekaiser, Naafiri, Riven, and Sylas, and reworked Bel'Veth's growth curve. The buff list isn't automatically an S+ list: U.GG's data for the same patch shows Kai'Sa's pick rate climbing noticeably while her win rate still hovers around 50%, and Bel'Veth's new playstyle needs more samples. 26.16 is already on the PBE; once it hits live, reconfirm your picks with the new patch data.
How to Pick
When autofilled, reach for champions with a clear job: Malphite top, Nocturne or Ahri mid/jungle, Jinx bottom, and Leona support. If you main one role, set two comfort picks and one counter pick from the table. Spend your ban on the lane matchup you handle worst; don't just copy the server-wide ban rate.
Adjust the Tiers in the Template
Above is a snapshot of the public data from 26.15. The "League of Legends Champion Rankings" template (ID 111, roughly 157 champion tiles) can be dragged and dropped into your own patch tier list.
