Global vendor shipments: Gartner 1Q26
Gartner preliminary: about 62.8 million traditional PCs in Q1 2026, roughly +4.0% YoY. Lenovo stayed #1 at about 16.645 million units (~26.5%); HP about 12.142 million (~19.3%, −4.9% YoY); Dell about 10.337 million (~16.5%). Apple about 6.684 million (~10.6%, +12.7% YoY), lifted by MacBook Neo; ASUS about 4.210 million took #5 over Acer (~4.001 million).
IDC’s same-quarter total was about 65.6 million (+2.5% YoY) with the same top-five order. Omdia noted notebook (incl. mobile workstation) shipments up about 4% YoY that quarter, with channel pull-ins ahead of component price hikes.

Retail series: Amazon US (June 2026)
LaptopMedia’s US series ranking: MacBook Neo ~39,000 units at ~$558 average; then MacBook Air 13 (M5) ~33,400 and MacBook Air 15 (M5) ~16,100. Windows volume sits in the middle with HP 14, Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go 14″, HP OmniBook 3, and HP 15; the gaming entry in the top 10 is Acer Nitro V 16S AI, plus ASUS Vivobook Go 15 OLED on the value OLED line.

Omdia: mainland China PC shipments ~8.9 million (−2% YoY). Notebooks (incl. mobile workstations) ~5.3 million (−19% YoY); desktops (incl. desktop workstations) ~3.6 million (+41% YoY). Vendors: Lenovo ~2.8 million (~31%), Huawei ~1.4 million (~16%, +38% YoY), Apple ~0.8 million (~9%), iSoftStone ~0.7 million, HP ~0.6 million. Full-year 2026 China PC outlook ~36 million (−14%).

Gaming angle: notebooks in the Steam sample
